AND THEIR FAMILIES. If you will be between the
ages of 7 – 23 by July 9,
2012,
and attend and participate in at least one session of the 2012
Texas
State Singing Convention mentioned above,
your name will be put in a drawing for a full scholarship (room/board
and
tuition) for the July 9-20,
2012
session of the Texas Southern Gospel School of Music. We will draw a
winning
name, plus 1st and 2nd
runners-up.
The drawing will be held at the close on Saturday afternoon of the
State
Convention. You do not have to be present for the drawing. The winner
(only) will
be notified if not present. He or she will be notified again around May
1, 2012 to see if they are
going to be able to attend
the upcoming school. Should they not be able to attend,
the 1st runner-up will be contacted. If neither the winner nor 1st
runner-up
can attend, the 2nd
runner-up will
be contacted. If none of the three names drawn are able to attend, the money will be donated to the school
to be used
at their discretion. NO FAMILY MEMBER OF THE OFFICERS OF THE TEXASSTATE
SINGING CONVENTION IS ALLOWED TO ENTER THIS DRAWING
